Led by: Marquis Walsh
Where: Level G Conference Room, Dimond Library
When:
Wed., December 2, 2009, 12:00pm-1:30pm

Rich media is the term geeks use to describe all the new digital resources that are available to educators – audio files, video clips, still images, animations, interactive screens.  Whether you are teaching in classroom or at a distance, these digital resources can enhance your teaching and help your students learn.  In this session, we'll discuss best practices for using rich media - from designing your assignment to assessing your students' work. Share your ideas, objectives, and challenges with fellow faculty who are considering using these tools.  Discover what has worked and what hasn't for other faculty.
