 Blackboard Self and Peer Assessment

This session has been cancelled.

Led by: April Rau
Where: Studio 521, Dimond Library
When:
Fri., November 6, 2009, 9:00am-11:00am

Blackboards new Self and Peer assessment tool provides a way for students and their peers to critique each others’ work, while the instructors monitors their progress.

This new tool is a way for students to assess critically their own work and the work of their peers.

Similar to the Assignments tool in Blackboard, the Assessment tool automatically creates a column in the Grade Center. Instructors can track students' progress, review their assignments and assign a grade in the Grade Center.

In this session we will explore how to set up a Self and Peer assessment and talk about some best practices in using this new tool.

New Blackboard users are invited to register for Blackboard QuickStart (see course catalogue for next available dates).
