Blackboard Workgroups
This session has passed.
Led by: April Rau
Where: Studio 521, Dimond Library
When:
Thu., November 5, 2009, 9:00am-11:00am
Communication and interaction lie at the core of all learning. You communicate knowledge to your students; students communicate it to each other; you interact with the outcomes; students interact with your content. Without communication and interaction of some kind, no learning takes place. Blackboard workgroups enable communication and interaction in any course - in the classroom or outside it. They can make large classes small and small classes smaller. They give students an opportunity to collaborate and reflect. They support the sharing of knowledge and experience. In this session, we'll show you how to create, configure, and populate a workgroup. Faculty are encouraged to bring their own course materials to the training. New Blackboard users are invited to register for Blackboard QuickStart (see course catalogue for next available dates).
